Former ROH World Champion files trademark for his ring name

Dalton Citadel is seeking to lock down the trademark rights to his ring title.

He filed for it on January 14th with The USA Patent and Trademark Workplace, based on PWinsider.com.

The trademark filed by Citadel, actual title Brett Giehl, was for items and providers within the realms of “Leisure providers, particularly, wrestling displays and performances by knowledgeable wrestler and entertainer.”

This comes after it was reported final week that the previous ROH World Heavyweight Champion is a free agent. It was famous within the report that Citadel determined to not renew his contract with Ring of Honor, which expired.

Citadel stays in talks with ROH however is in search of to see his value and keen to hearken to gives from different promotions. He joined Ring of Honor in 2013 and have become the highest champion by beating Cody Rhodes to win the world title.
